From January 1st, 2012, all UK activities related to PowerWind turbines will be managed directly by PowerWind GmbH.

We want to thank the team of IMS WindPower for their efforts and achievements and the successful co-operation.

1 Sept 2011 - First UK sale for PowerWind

Contracts have been signed for the first PowerWind 56 wind turbine in the UK to be installed at the University of Sheffield’s NAMRC Advanced Manufacturing Park in Rotherham.

Delivery and commissioning of the 900kW rated turbine is scheduled for December 2011.

The PowerWind 56 will be installed on a 71 metre tower, giving an overall height to tip of 99 metres.

Balance of Plant, including foundation and grid connection works is being handled by BAM Construction Limited.
